The origins go back to 1828.

On 19th August 1828, date in which Sir Francisco and Sir     Domingo Ponsa Vallés they began to be part of the Weavers     Union of Veils and Tapes of the city of Manresa. In that date started the family business,   the production changed from producing veils to the   production of tapes.
